Engage yourself in a meaningful Christian Nurturing

The Church of the American Ceylon Mission conducts mass children gathering annually. This is conducted in view of Christian Nurturing with the passion of Children ministry. This purpose was supported by various people in past years and this is carried out every year without fail.

Due to the latest trends we are in a state of introducing new competitions and do some more to attract children towards the Christian Education Programmes. Therefore this year we have introduced some new competitions and new age groups also.

We humbly encourage you to support this programme in various ways. In loving memory of your loved ones you can contribute for challenge trophies. This will continue lifelong.

Other forms of prizes can be given for one year minimum. Specially for the individual competitions we expect the support like this from you.

Individual Competitions (Donors needed)

We expects from the faithful ones to support for this noble cause by providing some worthful things to be donated as prizes to the children. These prizes can be Christian Items or any play, educational materials suitable to their age. Our prize target is Rs. 500 for 1^st place, Rs. 400 for 2^nd place and Rs. 300 for the 3^rd place.

5.       Individual Singing Keerthanai: (Expectation: Rs.500X5 + Rs. 400X5 + Rs. 300X5 = Rs. 6000)

7.       Essay Writing competition: (Expectation: Rs.500X4 + Rs.400X4 + Rs. 300X4 = Rs.4800)

= 12 prizes are needed.

8.       Memory Verse Competitions:

This is not a competition like others.  Who ever memorizes and recite the passages selected for the competition in front of our judges on the prescribed day for this competition will be awarded. Usually we have 100 children who do in Tamil Medium and 50 Children who do in English Medium.  We humbly expect from believers who really want to support such efforts of Christian Nurturing.  A prize should be minimum Rs. 200 worth. We used to give Christian Items like bible verse printed key tags, ect. Anyone can think about donating book marks their beloved memorials. (Expectation Rs. 200 X 150 Children = 30,000)

9.       Other areas we need help

ü  Catering of the programme volunteers & Judges (Meals and Soft Drinks)

ü  Supporting poor parishes for their transport

ü  Souvenir printing

ü  Refreshment for children  (Rs. 30 X 700 Children)

ü  Food & Lodging of out station children
